Managing Challenging Site Conditions

The original site presented a number of logistical challenges, including restricted access roads, tight clearances, and surrounding stone buildings. As shown in the first photo, specialist heavy transport was carefully positioned to allow safe removal from the building without disruption to the surrounding area.

Precision Lifting and Handling

With transport in position, the freezer modules were removed using crane lifting and specialist rigging. One of the images shows a large insulated module suspended during lifting—an operation that demands precise load control and experienced coordination.

Every lift was executed to minimise stress on the freezer panels, ensuring the unit would perform exactly as intended once recommissioned.

The final image captures the freezer module being lowered onto the transport trailer, where it was carefully secured for its journey. This stage is critical: correct positioning and restraint ensure the equipment arrives in perfect condition, ready for reassembly.
